By Car (from the M5 motorway):- Leave the M5 motorway at junction 27, joining the A361.- Continue on the A361, bypassing Tiverton.- Stay on the road, through Barnstaple, to Ilfracombe. By Coach:National Express and other coach operators offer services from London Victoria and other major cities and towns. Most connect or transfer at Taunton, Exeter or Barnstaple, with some direct routes to Ilfracombe. By Train:Intercity trains run regularly to Exeter. From Exeter, change to the scenic Tarka Line for onward travel to Barnstaple, with coach bus or taxi connections from Barnstaple to Ilfracombe.
