The Queens Head Hotel is situated in the centre of town and local transport is all within walking distance. Newcastle airport is approximately a 20 minute drive away.By car from the South: - Follow the A1 north and exit for Morpeth. - Follow the road through Clifton village and you will find a car showroom and caravan park on your left. - Continue for about a mile into the town centre. - Continue through a mini roundabout and past a golf course.- At the next roundabout take the left exit, signposted town centre.- Follow this road over the bridge and take the next left at the roundabout. - Continue up the main street and about half way up on your left you will find a Tudor style building which is the Queens Head Hotel. From the North: - Follow the A1 south and take the turn off for Morpeth. - Continue straight at the traffic lights and at the 2nd set of lights there is a mini roundabout. - Continue between the town hall and HSBC bank. - Take the next left onto Whale Bone Lane.
